Found your channel and whilst watching your review I had to lower the volume because hearing the audio from this movie again disturbed me. Watched: 2nd January 2016 Started: 1st January 2016 Tarkovsky is one of those directors I had to grow up into. I’ve seen Stalker few years ago and hated the film, almost couldn’t finish it. Few days ago, I decided to give him another chance. I watched Andrey Rublev and to my surprise actually really liked it. To try out another one, I turned on Ivan’s Childhood, still quite sceptical. But the film grabbed me from the very beginning. I have never seen a film with a main child character done the same way. Sure, Idi i smotri (Go and See) is similar in a way that it follows a boy losing his innocence during the war. But in Ivan’s childhood, the traumatic events had already happened before the movie starts. They are never discussed in detail, just hinted on, letting the viewer fill in the gaps. The dream sequences, which at first appear to be flashbacks but later it’s revealed those are not memories, but really “just” disturbing dreams. They won’t reveal any facts but they let us look into Ivan’s present state of mind. Ivan’s unclear past makes him a mysterious character which I would almost compare to some “stranger haunted by his past” from a western genre. Also the cinematography is breathtaking. Only complain I would have is more of a personal taste and it is about the ending. Although it carries strong emotions, I felt it was way to abrupt and I might have preferred a bit more action and less meditation. My rating: 4, 5 (out of 5).

This was a fascinating but at the same time heart-wrenching look into the lives of Byelorussian soldiers during World War II. When the film begins, German soldiers have already entered the country and are brutally killing the Byelorussian soldiers and civilians with smiles on their faces. We see the story through the eyes of Florya, a young boy thrust into the war by soviet partisans much to the dismay of his mother. We see the transition of a normal boy to an extremely disturbed young man. The more brutality he sees, the more his insanity increases. As hard as this film was to see, I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. I found it visually stunning and highly recommend it to not only a film major but history buff as well. I also found the music selection particularly interesting especially in the end, using both Mozart's Lacrimosa and Wagner's (a Nazi sympathizer) Die Walkure in very emotional scenes.

Watching the "flashback" of Hitler's life until his picture as a baby, a baby just like many other that died because of him and his Nazi's ideals.

¿Porqué escoger Ingeniería de Sistemas?

(1) Transformar una necesidad de operación en una descripción de parámetros de rendimiento del sistema y una configuración del sistema a través del uso de un proceso iterativo de definición, síntesis, análisis, diseño, prueba y evaluación.

(2) Integrar parámetros técnicos relacionados para asegurar la compatibilidad de todos los interfaces de programa y funcionales de manera que optimice la definición y diseño del sistema total.
